  4. Thanks for posting this! I have found some spots on my arm. I don't think that they could be cancerous, but I want to get it checked out just in case.

  5. It can be really scary to find out that you have skin cancer. My grandpa had a case of it on his ear a couple of years ago. I guess you never know where you could get it. You have to be so careful to cover every inch of your body with sunscreen when you're out in the sun.

  6. Thank you for posting photos of cancerous skin. I found an abnormal mole on my back the other day, and was worried it might be skin cancer. I don't spend much time in the sun, and always wear sun screen when I do, so the possibility of skin cancer was low. After seeing these photos, I don't think it's skin cancer, but I will be sure to see a dermatologist to be sure. http://www.fincherderm.com

  7. It's extremely important to know what skin cancer looks like in its early stages. Cancer can be hard for people to see before it gets really bad. Most people don't expect to have cancer, so it doesn't really cross their minds to check for the different signs of cancer. I'd imagine that a lot of people don't even know what to look for when checking for cancer anyway. My family has a history of skin cancer and I wasn't even sure what skin cancer looked like. I'll have to make sure that I check myself and my kids more often to watch for early skin cancer signs. http://www.fatfreezebroward.com

  8. That's so crazy, I never knew that cancer had a distinct look. I had always thought that only doctors could detect if you had cancer or not. I guess it's really good to make sure that you know what these kind of things look like. That way you can deal with it before it gets any worse.

  9. There is a reason why people say to always put on sun screen and to not stay outside for too long. Skin cancer is one of those things that no one plans for. It's good to see what the conditions look like. That gives you some time to visit the dermatologist so you guys can take proper action. I would suggest going to a dermatologist if you show any signs of skin cancer, or any other skin condition like rosacea. http://www.eastcarolinadermatology.com/rosacea.html
